Two long hours

give it the intonation of an answer

give it appearance
of an ordinary life

several copies of what I thought was a person,
masterpieces to admire

Only the end of the meal was missing

favored to lift my eyes from the page
though I know too little about cooking

The rest of the day
is called the afternoon
